Gerri-Lynn Fives is REALTOR® of the Year
Gerri-Lynn Fives, of Prudential California Realty’s Coronado office, was recently named Realtor of the Year for 2011 by the Coronado Real Estate Association (CREA). Fives received the prestigious award in recognition of her ethics, integrity, service to the community and the entire real estate industry.
“This award is an incredible honor for me,” says Fives, “and I would like to thank my colleagues for their support. I am very passionate about the value of home ownership and firmly believe in the importance of working to further the real estate industry.”
Fives has been honored with the San Diego Association of REALTORS® (SDAR) Leadership Award and voted best in overall client satisfaction by the readers of San Diego Magazine for two years running. She finished 2011 as the #1 ranked individual agent in Prudential’s Coronado offices for her sales performance.
“Gerri-Lynn’s amazing track record of professional accomplishments and industry accolades are an indication of the strength of her character and ambition to succeed,” said Joe Campagna, manager of Prudential’s Coronado offices.
Fives has been appointed to numerous high-ranking positions within real estate associations as a result of her educational background, service in the Armed Forces and dedication to the industry. For 2012 alone, she will be serving as a director of the California Association of REALTORS®, as a director of SDAR, as the vice president of CREA, and as chairperson of the International Counsel for SDAR.
A registered dietitian for over 20 years, Fives was a commissioned officer in both the U.S. Army and Navy before she entered the real estate arena. She completed an extensive series of coursework to earn the following designations: Accredited Buyer Representative, Certified Negotiation Expert, Certified International Property Specialist, Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate, Realtor Institute, and many others.
